PTFA Events

Please see below the list of events the Parent, Teachers, and Friends Association (PTFA) will be hoping to run during the Autumn, Spring and Summer terms this academic year at Kilmington Primary School. We will aim to update this list at the start of each term.

The PTFA would welcome any ideas for future events or ways we can make existing events better. We are only a small committee, so any support you can provide either by attending events, supporting the preparations or at the event itself would be very welcome.

We hold our Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the start of each academic year (usually at the end of September/October). This is an opportunity to reflect on the previous year, form the new committee and start to plan for the year ahead. Everyone is welcome to come along, and we would really love to see more parents, friends, and teachers there.

All the money raised by the PTFA is for the children and to provide them with more opportunities during their time at Kilmington Primary School.

Secondhand coat sale - Donations to arrive on Monday 3^rd. £1 per coat. All coats left are bagged & collected with bags4school.	3-7 November
Bags4school – Collection 9:00 outside village hall	Friday 7 November
School cake sale #2 – 50p per cake	Friday 21 November	Ospreys and Pipits classes to bake/provide cakes
Pyjama Day – Non-uniform day to raise contributions for the Christmas hamper raffle.	Friday 28 November	£1 donation per child in non-uniform.
PTFA Committee meeting #1	Tuesday 2 December	While committee meetings are only for committee members, we would really love your ideas. Any suggestions or concerns, please speak to one of the committee members.
Christmas hamper creating and parents social – an evening putting together the hampers	Tuesday 9^th December, 19:00 Hunter Lodge Pub	One for the parents. If anyone would like to join us in the pub for a festive drink and to help put together the prizes for the Christmas hamper raffle. If you know in advance, let one of us know or just join us.
Carol Service refreshments	Tuesday 16 December 14:30, refreshments from 14:00	Please bring cash. The PTFA hopes to have some adult refreshments available prior to the afternoon service (14:00 onwards). Keep an eye out for more information. Refreshments not guaranteed at 17:30 service due to timings and PTFA availability.
Christmas hampers raffle	Draw on Wednesday 17 December, after school	Please sell as many tickets as you can to family and friends. If you have a business and can donate a prize hamper, please get in touch.
