We have had a few enquiries about applying sunscreen in school. We would advise and recommend applying sunscreen in the mornings, just before coming to school, to be the best option. This should be sufficient for the day but if you consider that your child will need to reapply sunscreen, you must provide your own as school does not keep supplies of sunscreen.  A roll-on variety is best as children should reapply it themselves.

Teachers will have a place in the classroom to keep the (named) bottles of sunscreen to avoid leakages in bags.

More importantly, a suitable HAT should be provided, as this is by far the most important factor in shielding from the sun. Bucket hats, brimmed hats or legionnaire style hats provide the best protection for ears, cheeks and necks.  Please WRITE THEIR NAME IN THEM.
