We are booked in at 10am so we need to leave promptly at 8.30am from the village hall car park. We will meet in the car park from 8.20am, register children as they arrive and then get straight on the bus

Children can bring entertainment for the coach: a book to read, a card game, activity book such as word searches, etc but please NO electronic games or phones. The museum is mainly hands-on practical activities so cameras will not be needed. Also, eating will not be allowed on the coach, so make sure they have a decent breakfast, that means no sweets will be allowed either!

When we arrive at the museum there is very limited space so we are only allowed to take in our lunch boxes, bottles and coats. So that your child can exit the coach easily, please pack the lunch and water bottle inside a carrier bag. We are booked to have lunch quite early, so we will have a snack later on as well – please make sure that your child has plenty of food and their water bottle is full.

We have two workshops planned and there will be plenty of time to visit the interactive exhibits as well. There will also be an opportunity to visit the shop, we suggest a maximum of £10. Please give named purses / envelopes with money to one of the teachers before getting on the bus so that we can keep hold of it and let the children have it when they visit the shop.

It is essential that school uniform is worn. Coats will be stored in the museum cloakrooms.

We will be departing the museum at 3.30pm and estimate that we will be back at around 5.00pm. When we get off the motorway we will email the school if there has been any significant delay.
