This year, we are planning to have a Joint Year 6 trip with Shute Primary as part of the leavers’ celebrations. We will be visiting the farm. Children should be dropped off at the farm entrance at around 9.30am and collected from the same place at 7.00pm.

The children will need:

• Clothing: OUTDOOR CLOTHING THAT CAN GET DIRTY AND/OR WET!

All children MUST wear long sleeved tops and long trousers. They will need either wellies or old trainers. They will also need a COMPLETE change of clothes including dry shoes.

They may need a warm top or coat for later in the day.

Waterproofs may also be advisable- PLEASE CHECK THE WEATHER FORECAST.

• Medicines: If your child might need medication during the day, especially hay-fever sufferers, please could you pick up a green medicines form from Mrs McKenzie. You will then need to hand this in to an adult on arrival at the farm on Friday morning, together with the medication. The only exception to this is asthma inhalers which should be carried by your child.
• Sun cream: Please can all children come with sun cream on them already and a supply to replenish throughout the day, especially if your child has fair skin. Hats will be essential too. We will be outside most of the time, so please make sure they come well equipped for the weather.
• A large drinks bottle filled up. These can be refilled whenever the children run out or if their drink gets too warm etc.
• Camera if you wish – NO MOBILE PHONES OR OTHER ELECTRONICS

Food will be provided: a picnic lunch, BBQ evening meal and snacks during the day.
