Children to school 8.50am 

As the weather can be extreme it is ESSENTIAL that children come suitably attired on the day:

• they need several layers of warm clothing
  • vest r base layer
  • t-shirt
  • lng-sleeved top
  • jumper, sweatshirt r hoodie
• waterproof coat with hood – a fleece is not enough
• waterproof trousers if possible
• waterproof shoes such as walking boots or wellies (trainers are NOT sufficient)
• two pairs socks
• hat, scarf, gloves

This might sound overkill but the weather can be very harsh and we do not want anyone getting cold at all.   In addition, please apply sunscreen in the morning as it can also change dramatically once you are there!

Please also bring a fair sized rucksack that will accommodate some of the clothes – they don’t need to wear them all on the bus otherwise they will be too hot, but we will need extra layers. They must also bring a substantial packed lunch (they will get hungry being out all day) and a large bottle of water.
